Shaping the Future: Yangi Kon Experts Mentor Gubkin University Students

Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Yangi Kon organized a series of international-level workshops and mentoring sessions for students of the Tashkent Branch of the I.M. Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.

This initiative is being implemented within the framework of the Memorandum signed on April 14, 2025. The seminars were conducted by experts with international experience from organizations including USGS, ENI, BP, Shell, SLB, and Halliburton.

Technical Seminars and Practical Training

On April 17 and April 29, international experts Ronald Drake and Ehtisham Faisal conducted seminars focused on geology and geophysics.

During the sessions, students gained:

• practical exposure to modern geological exploration methods;
• experience in interpreting complex seismic data;
• understanding of international industry standards;
• insights based on real industrial case studies.
