About the Role
We are looking not just for an analyst, but for a person who will become the “eyes and mind” of the company. Your task is to see the whole picture, cascade global goals down to the executor level, and ensure total control over the execution of plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Oversight: Developing “The Roadmap” (a step-by-step plan) for all departments based on the CEO’s goals.
- Scenario Modeling: Conducting “What-if” analysis and preparing Plans A and B for force majeure events (logistical disruptions, price changes, risks).
- Plan-Fact Control: Monthly monitoring of the budget and completed work. Identifying deviations before they become critical.
- Investment Audit: Calculating the payback of new projects and auditing business lines.
- Contract Control: Checking the objectivity of evaluations in tenders and compliance with budget limits (AFE).
- Analysis of “Bottlenecks”: Identifying the real causes of delays (personnel errors, payment delays, contractor performance).
- Implementation of OKRs and KPIs: Transitioning the company from evaluating “process” to evaluating “result.”
Required Experience and Skills
- Boshqaruv metodologiyalari: OKR (Objectives and Key Results), KPI, maqsadlar bo‘yicha boshqaruv.
- Moliya menejmenti: Byudjetlashtirish tamoyillari (AFE), investitsiya ko‘rsatkichlarini hisoblash (ROI, NPV, qoplanish muddati).
- Tarmoq xususiyatlari: Quduq qurish, geologiya-qidiruv ishlari va injiniring bosqichlarini tushunish.
- Xatar-menejmenti: Xatarlarni baholash va stsenariy rejalashtirish usullari.
- Benchmarking: Kompaniya ko‘rsatkichlarini bozor yetakchilari (SLB, Halliburton) bilan solishtirish qobiliyati.
Desired Experience and Skills
- The specialist must know:
- Management Methodologies: OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), KPIs, management by objectives.
- Financial Management: Principles of budgeting (AFE), calculation of investment indicators (ROI, NPV, payback).
- Industry Specifics: Understanding the stages of well construction, geological exploration, and engineering.
- Risk Management: Methods of risk assessment and scenario planning.
- Benchmarking: Ability to compare company indicators with market leaders (SLB, Halliburton).
Software Proficiency:
- MS Excel (Expert): Complex modeling, macros, working with large data sets.
- BI Systems (Power BI, Tableau): Creating interactive dashboards for management.
- ERP Systems: Understanding the principles of accounting systems (1C, SAP, or equivalents).
- MS Project / Primavera: Project scheduling and network planning.
- Specialized Software (overview): Understanding the principles of working in Landmark/Schlumberger to verify engineering reports.
